JW Marriott Marco Island Weddings offers the most beautifully serene location for your wedding. We were so honored to journey toward the aisle with Jennifer & Andrew for their wedding day this October at the JW Marriott. It was a joy to get to know the bride and groom’s story, and learn who they are as individuals and a couple. Their story shined bright throughout each detail on their wedding day.

Jennifer’s thoughtful attention to detail married the vibrant greens of the tropics with delicate touches of protea florals and blush roses, bringing the perfect amount of feminine touches to her wedding day. One of our most favorite parts of any Bride’s wedding day is florals. We always recommend, no matter what, a bouquet to match your personality. One of our favorite moments of the day always presents itself when the bride gets her finishing touch ups from the most important women in her life. Jennifer, her mother, and her sweet bridesmaids brought tender moments and plenty of laughter!
Andrew was calm as can be while awaiting his dear bride. All exactly as it should be! His giddy smile melts our hearts!
The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort offers expansive beaches for both ceremony and reception celebrations alike. The powdery sand is the perfect balance of sugary soft, yet still firm enough to allow for striking ceremony structures (and the gals’ freedom in selecting any kind of footwear!). Jennifer & Andrew had the resort display a fruit-infused water station underneath a tiki hut, allowing their guests to be cooled down, mind, body and spirit, as they welcomed themselves into the island celebrations. Their ceremony was set just close enough to the resort itself; allowing for an easy walk down the aisle and a stunningly picturesque backdrop of the ocean.
Sweetly Sentimental
See those happy tears flowing? Joining them in their emotion? You will be after you hear this sweet story. Jennifer’s uncle became ordained years ago to lead the wedding ceremony of one of her cousins. He then went on to marry each cousin during their happily ever after from then on. Of course, when it came time for Jennifer to select an officiant, it was a no brainer to opt for her precious uncle.
As photographers, we feel it is so important to be in touch with our clients. Ensuring they feel comfortable around us allows us to capture them as they naturally are–without any shred of discomfort of nerves. As such, we feel the difference is clear when a team of wedding vendors does just the same. We adore the new trend of couples choosing a loved one to be their officiant. What better way to feel at ease and be lead into marriage by someone who has known and loved you for years?

We really appreciated how many different settings the varying foliage on the resort grounds offered. From ocean strolls, to seagrass snuggles, to greenery grins, these two were show-stopping in all scenic offerings. JW Marriott Marco Island offers so much for your wedding and we adore each time we get to shoot there!

Seal it with a kiss
Saving the best for last, the couple selected to celebrate their reception on the Calusa Terrace at the resort. The vibe was one of a kind in this space! It offered the signature Marco Island island vibe, while also providing a big city rooftop feel. Best of all? These two lovebirds highlighted each view perfectly.
Jennifer & Andrew’s day was one for the storybooks! The best wedding days are the days that completely capture the feel of the couple in each moment and every detail. Their big day offered just that.
